I love how soft his eyes get when he looks at me

Or how his hands feel like clouds blandly touching my skin

Yet in his arms I’m in my safe place

Like nothing can harm me

 

When he hugs me I can feel my heart trying to escape my chest

Sitting besides him and not touching him

Makes me want to crawl inside him

Because being next to him is not enough

 

I’m a bit scarce with words

When it comes to telling him how I feel

But I hope he sees the glow in my eyes

And the inability to hide the smile from my face

 

Because I have never felt more relaxed

Because I have never felt more comfortable

Because I have never felt more cherished

Because I have never felt more loved.
