I talked to my 10 year old cousin today. She told me about this school play they were preparing for Christmas. The plot is about a naughty boy who gets a barbie doll as a gift, he ends up crying and “learning a lesson”.

I asked her why is it wrong for him to play with a doll? She said because he is a boy. I answered: Why does it matter, you like playing with cars don’t you? She mumbled yeah but… I continued, do you think that’s wrong? She said no, but everyone in my class think it is.

I sighed and said everyone should have a right to play with any toy they want, wear whatever colour they like. It doesn’t matter which sex are you, you shouldn’t place people in boxes. It’s rather silly to make fun of someone based on what they like to wear or do.

Normal doesn’t exist, it’s just a shallow term human kind invented .
