But I know you struggle daily with who you want to become

I helped you to create yourself

I helped you and got nothing in return

although I never asked for anything

I just didn’t think  that you would hurt me

after I made a place in my heart just for you

and maybe that was my biggest mistake because in the process of trying to find you, I lost myself
